Holcomb Gardens

Nestled along the historic Indianapolis Central Canal, Holcomb Gardens is 20 acres of beautiful wooded land. The gardens were designed by James Holcomb, a Trustee to the University, and Arthur Lindberg. The creation of the space was completed in 1950 and has been the host to many memorable events over the years. In the middle of the Gardens, a 500- foot-long grass mall featuring the statue of Persephone by French sculptor Armand Toussaint. The Garden House accommodates up to 50 guests and can be utilized for wedding parties and private events.
